Located within a 33-hectare site on the North Head of Manly you will find a unique destination, that is Q Station. An enduring part of Sydney’s history, that once served as the Quarantine Station for migrants arriving in Australia. Located in the Sydney Harbour National Park, Q Station is a fully integrated destination offering hotel accommodation, unique venues and outdoor sites for events, conferences and weddings, tours and educational programs including the well-known “after-dark tours”, direct access to Sydney Harbour and the Australian bush.

The hotel rooms are in fact the original accommodation areas that people migrating to Australia for the first time would have stayed in. In keeping with our heritage the accommodation is divided into first, second and third class.

The old staff quarters now provide cottage accommodation that is ideal for small groups or families. Q Station is dedicated to preserving our heritage status and due to restrictions with building modifications, the accommodation rooms do not have air conditioning.  However, they are all fitted with ceiling fans and heating for the cooler months
